The Blessing of the Fleet is a celebration that consists of several different events. Below is a list and desription of our events, if you would like to participate in one or more please visit the event application page. Art in the Park
McIntosh Art Association presents "Art In The Park" a two-day event taking place in lovely historical Vernon Square in Darien, GA from 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday, Marach 28 & 29, 2020.
Street Parade
The parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday March 28, 2020 and follows Hwy. 17 from Hwy 251 to the Darien Bridge. This year the theme is Shrimpers: The Heart of McIntosh! Come watch this lively celebration of the Blessing of the Fleet.
Blessing of the Feet 5K
This event will be held on Saturday, March th at 8am. Sponsored by the McIntosh County YMCA.

Children's Activities
Annual Fishing Rodeo and Kids' Zone. Call (912) 437-4837 to register your child for the Fishing Rodeo where they can win prizes like Biggest Fish and Most Fish caught
Marine Parade
Join us in the largest shrimpboat Blessing on the East Coast! Help us wish the shrimpboats, captains, and crews a successful year of fishing! The parade is at 2PM on Sunday.
Car Show
Saturday, ( 10 am-3 pm)
The Castaway Coastal Cruisers will host a Classic Car Show on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. With registration at 9 am.
Community Worship Service
Everyone is invited to attend, to show support for the community as a whole. The service will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
Fishing Rodeo
Sign your son or daughter up to compete in the Annual Fishing Rodeo! They will be given a rod and bait then set loose. Held at the Tidewaters Industrial Complex. There will be winners in each gender for categories of biggest fish & most fish.
Little Miss Blessing

This pageant is open to single girl’s ages 0-15 years old that reside or attend school in McIntosh County. Entry Fee for all contestants is $50.00.

This pageant is open to girls ages 16-20 who reside in McIntosh County and are currently enrolled in school or graduated from high school.
