Blessing of the Fleet Community Kickoff Day
Saturday, April 14th, 2012
Located in Beautiful Downtown Darien, Georgia, this day is a kick-off to start the week of festivities that will lead up to the Largest Shrimp Boat Blessing on the East Coast! Lots of activities for the young and young at heart to participate in. Show off your talents on the community stage, put your best recipe to the test by entering the Shrimp Dish Cookoff, take the kids fishing at the Fishing Rodeo, see how many shrimp you can peel and eat, or get a team together and enjoy the competitive spirit of this year's new event Cornhole Tournament. Don't worry about bringing lunch, we will have local restaurants and food vendors offering a variety of great food. There is something for everyone and best of all admission is FREE !
